The main point here would be that for the btaudio driver to work in "digital"
mode, the BT878 based card would have to bring certain hardware features. By
far not all cards implement these at all, so that btaudio has little chance
of working properly.

hi!
I have a question, but I dont if it a fool question.
Can I use another driver with a card bt878?
beacause the btaudio driver dont work well with my
media player.
Hi Isabel,
The btaudio driver is only needed if you want
to get the audio straight off your tv card. I
havent been able to make this work on my
card.
The workaround -- and more common solution --
is to use a short cable (one usually comes with
your tv card) from your audio out on the tv
card to a line-in on your sound card. That
works reliably.
